How was your summer?

Tell me and your classmates a little bit about you and your summer! I had a great summer! I was able to take 2 FBLA students to the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, FL in June. In July I attended a Cubs game in Chicago. In August we went on a Caribbean cruise. We also had 4 weddings this summer! In between all that, I spent a lot time in my backyard--in the pool and the garden! I have 2 children--Madison is 10 and in 4th grade and Dawson is 7 and in 2nd grade. My husband is DJ and he works for Weber Excavating in St. Donatus and he also drills bowling balls at Horizon Lanes. My family loves to bowl and swim and go out for supper! We also love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy running and cooking and reading! What are some good books you read over the summer? Here are a few I read: The Shack, 90 Minutes in Heaven, Heaven is For Real. I learned how to make my own dishwasher soap and laundry detergent over the summer :-)

    Uhhh I did nothing Special, just went to a few brewer games, and uhh a concert.

    i went to work everyday for 18 hours a day i did not do anything else it was pretty boring summer

    My summer was full, the very first day I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed, it wasn't as bad as I had expected. About a week later I started a CNA course that lasted about a month or so. After my course was over I went to work at Cornelius Seed where I rogued and detasseled. I enjoyed my summer but it went by way too fast. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I also like to play volleyball.

    This summer I woke up Monday through Friday at 6 to go to lifting in the morning till 9. After that I would do some choirs arround the house or go to bed for anothe hour or 2. Most days I would work from 3 to 10 at Bender's Foods. Their was very few days that I had off work so when I was off I would either go out with friends, go out with my girlfriend, go tubbing, or just relax at home and watch a movie.

    A little bit of what I did this summer went to St louis. for family vk. I worked all summer for Deppe landscaping and welding. I learned alot from that I went on the river a little bit other then that not to much this summer.

    OVer the summer I mostly rode dirt bikes and swam! Had some fun campouts sleeping on the pool deck. I also got hooked on a computer game call "Minecraft"!! :(

    well i went to the outer banks north carolina and just hung out and relaxed. I was also practicing guitar pretty much whenever i could and got to go to a seether concert.

    Hi! My summer was FULL of softball! We had our last softball game on July 5th. We had a great time and made awesome new friends on the team with Andrew students coming over. After softball it was time for local parades and the 2011 Jackson County Fair! This year I hold the title of 2011 Jackson County Beef Princess! Fair was AWESOME and of course like usual it went by super fast! I had 2 indoor projects go to the Iowa State Fair and 2 communication projects also go to state fair. I forgot to mention in between softball games I managed to babysit for family and friends. I am still currently babysitting for them and working after school at Patzner's Pro Shop. Have a great school year :) Allison Kilburg
